Nowadays it is probably fair to say that film trailers give just a little too much away in terms of plot for our liking. They are a key tool in a studios’ marketing campaign but sometimes less is more for many movie fans. However, when it comes to STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, is there a fan of the saga that will be able to stay away from the soon to be released second trailer? I’ll bet you a thousand republic credits there won’t be many people not rushing to YouTube when the trailer drops later on. However, the film’s director Rian Johnson is keen for audiences to stay away from the new trailer and had the following to say via Twitter:

The trailer is due to screen over on ESPN during the Monday Night Football half-time show at around 10pm EST which unfortunately means around 3am BST. We. Cannot. Wait! MTFBWY
