Colin Firth is a very versatile actor and whether he’s playing an upper-crust lawyer in BRIDGET JONES DIARY, or a kick-ass spy in the KINGSMAN movies he is never short than excellent in the character he plays. His next role sees him tackle a sea-bound adventure that follows the true story of amateur sailor Donald Crowhurst who set out to compete in the Sunday Times Golden Globe Race, a single-handed, round-the-world yacht race. The first trailer for the movie is below:

The official synopsis is as follows:

With an unfinished boat and his business and house on the line, Donald leaves his wife, Clare (Rachel Weisz) and their children behind, hesitantly embarking on an adventure on his boat the Teignmouth Electron.
