Calling all GOT fans; you can stop mourning the zombification (if that is even a word?!) of your favourite dragon and cancel the mining for Dragonglass in case the Night King pays you a visit, as confirmation is now in that season eight of everyone’s favourite tits and dragons epic GAME OF THRONES will return in 2019. Phewf!

After season seven ended on such an epic note with (SPOILER ALERT!) the Night King riding atop Viserion and blasting down the wall with a hellish blue flame, it was feared that we would have to wait until the end of 2018 or even 2019 to see what happens next. After all, the army of the undead are within striking distance of the land of the living now, so all hell will likely break loose eh? HBO have now confirmed that season eight will air in 2019 and that series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will be among those directing episodes for the new season alongside David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik. This is great news for GOT fans as Sapochnik and Nutter helmed some of the best episodes of the series, including THE BATTLE OF THE BASTARDS and HARDHOME to name but two.

So, how do you think the series will end and what do you expect from the planned spin-offs. Probably more of the same presumably; dragons, nudity, dwarves, wine, blood and guts, incest, face-swapping…The list goes on. We can’t wait!
